I am glad that you are here and reading this article, because that means you want to change your life, you have goals and you want to achieve them.
Starting a new fitness plan or a new diet can be hard and very challenging, which lets face it usually make people quit and not go through with it. I am sure it happened to you as well that you saw a new training program or a new diet, you started it but maybe after few days or a week you already called it off. But why is that, did you ever think of it?
Most people don't ever think of the reasons and they keep being dissatisfied about their weights or health etc. I want to go into these details because maybe with doing that I can help some of you to actually go through, finish it and achieve success.
The most common mistakes we do when starting a fitness or diet plan, which can cause a failure :
Not setting a goal before jumping into it
Not believing in ourselves enough, not believing that we can achieve it, we lack self confidence
Not setting a time frame to achieve the goal
When setting a diet we opt for one with too many restrictions, instead of applying small changes at once and go step by step
Not choosing the right, the suitable fitness plan
Not measuring results
No time management, scheduling

Considering all of the above the very first thing is what you need to do is to set a goal. Exercise should be always goal based, because then you will be motivated to get back to it over and over again and make it a habit.
The second thing, which is the most important of all, you have to have self confidence and you have to believe in yourself. Why wouldn't you? You can totally do it, this is not a job, it is not rocket science, fitness healthy diet is just for yourself nobody is going to judge you, or create an assessment for you or even if you fail at some point you can always stand up and continue, so you should never give up. Believe in yourself and take the chance!
You know that feeling when there is a new challenge in your life you have to solve or project and you don't even know how start with, but then somehow it all clears up with thinking it through, scheduling and hard work and you achieve great success with it.
You should take an example like that from your past and try to measure and compare your diet or fitness challenge to it and try to use the same kind of path you used then. So basically what I want to say is that you have to make yourself a plan how you can achieve your goal. This brings us back to the above mentioned 7 reasons that can cause a failure, because actually they are all connected.
You have to have a goal in mind, that needs to be achievable, meaning not too restrictive if its a diet, not too overwhelming if you have a busy schedule, so simply said doable. It is also important to choose the right kind of exercises, what you will enjoy to do.
When setting your goal, you have to already think about the time frame, meaning within how much time is that achievable. Again, you have to give yourself enough time to make it happen. For example: if your goal is to lose 30 kg, you have to know that achieving it within 1 months is not doable but in 7-9 months it is.
Summary:
With careful planning, schedules, discipline and believing in yourself you can achieve any fitness goals you set. The questions you need to answer for yourself are the followings:
How long will it take to achieve the goal within healthy limits?
What steps will you take to get there?
How will you measure your success?
Once you figured these out, you just have to prepare your plan for the coming time you set for your goal and measure your success week by week or month by month.
I believe in you, you can do this, so don't let fear or insecurity stop you from achieving success.
